How to Clean Countertop Grills

How to clean countertop grills without the hassle.
We love our countertop grills when first bringing them home, but once all the crumbs and dirt being to settle onto the grill the thrill is gone. We love to cook with our counter top grills, but we surely don't love to clean them. Don't set aside your countertop grill any longer, because cleaning them is just as simple as using them. Here are a few steps on how to clean your countertop grill with no fuss or hassle.

Your secret weapon when cleaning your countertop grill will be a nylon scrub brush.

This brush will help to remove the stains and grease build-up without chipping the grill's plates.
Now, begin the cleaning process by wiping away any dry grease or crumbs that may be sitting on the grill. Next, mix warm water with a grease fighting dish detergent (preferably Dawn dish detergent). Once the water has become bubbly, dip your rag into the water and begin to wipe away grease and food residue from the countertop grill. If your countertop grill has the ability to be disassembled, simply remove the countertop grill plates and allow them to soak in the soapy water.
Now it's time to grab that handy dandy nylon scrub brush. Take the brush and begin scrubbing any stubborn spots that are left on the grilling plates. Once all the residue is remove, complete the task by doing one last wipe down, dry the plates with a dish towel, and reassemble the grill if necessary.
