How to Clean Washing Machine

How to clean washing machine is easier than you think. I know it's a washing machine but it needs cleaning as well. It gets grungy and full of mildew and even mold if you don't clean it often and can make your clean clothes don't smell so clean. So, think vinegar! With vinegar you can have a clean washing machine in no time.

How to clean a top load machine washer:

You will need white vinegar and a cloth. Set the machine for the longest cycle, select the hot water and set it to soak as well to let the vinegar dissolve the residues. Pour about four cups of vinegar in the water and run the washing machine and you'll see the difference. If necessary repeat the process and run it again.

While the machine is running you can clean the exterior and softener and bleach compartments with a cloth dipped in vinegar. Remove the softener and bleach compartments and wash them cleaning the excess product with vinegar.

How to clean a front load machine:

The front load machines tend to accumulate more residues and build up  more mildew than the top load ones. Again, select the hot water setting and pour the vinegar inside the bleach compartment all the way to the top. Put the setting for extra rinse if you have this option. Run the cycle and again while it's running clean the exterior parts with vinegar. After the cycle is done you can clean the rubber on the door and the bleach and softener compartments. You can use vinegar to clean every single part of your machine and you'll have your clothes free of that old smell.

Come back for more tips.
